Have you ever been invited to an ‘Amway’ meeting? I’m sure you have been, as most of us reading this. The company now completes more than five decades, and is no doubt one of the most financially stable and growing company in the sector of direct marketing. The company boasts of wide array of products, both core and non-core line, and these include some of the most famous brand such as Nutrilite®, Artistry® and Attitude®.
Well, this is what all of us have already heard, and quite many of us believe it to be true. And it is, indeed. The company is good, it is not a scam because it does reward its deserving members, and so on. But if you’re an affiliate of the company, you really do understand that getting new people to join under you or your team can sometimes be difficult.
In the fifty plus years that the company has been in the market, probably millions of users have joined worldwide. Unfortunately, many have left, but many still nurture their dreams to attain the qualifying positions, and thus “to finally achieve their goal”.
What does Amway do?
Although this question is answered in almost every business plan conducted by its members, not many of the invitees actually understand what the business is all about. I remember the first time when someone took me to a meeting, the only thing I understood was the amount that I would get each month if I reached to the position of a silver distributor, or a diamond distributor. Nothing less, nothing more!
So here, for the convenience of all who did not understand the business plan at all, I’ll just briefly explain what Amway is, and what it aims at.
Amway is a multi-national marketing company that uses the concept of direct selling for the sale and use of its products. The products that you get from the company are not directly manufactured from Amway themselves, but are actually marketed from various manufacturers. According to Amway, when you buy things from a store, you actually pay the inclusive amount that also includes the commission for the middlemen involved in bringing the product to the store. However, when you buy from Amway, the money that would actually have gone to middlemen is given back to you step-wise, in the form of monthly commissions.
How do I earn?
So now that you know what Amway actually offers, the most significant question is – how do you earn? A very global conception about the company in our mind is – I’ll have to make other people join my group, and then they will make others join, and this goes on and on. Well, this is what happens, to an extent.
Amway is really not about making everyone come into your business, rather, it is something that involves a lot of planning and strategy. It is true that you will have to get new members for your team, but it is not only about getting them. The entire process of making money from Amway requires you to work, and work really hard. You don’t expect people to come and join you and do everything else for you to make you successful, do you?
Your monthly earnings from Amway are calculated from the total sales done in that given month. The sales volume sets your bonus level, and this helps in calculating your commission for the month.
Does Amway actually pay?
Trust me, it does. The company is no scam, and no matter how much people criticize it, it is one of the best opportunities to help you earn an extra income. Based on the idea of business duplicity, the members under you are expected to do what you do. If you work real hard, and stick to the guidelines to your sponsors, you will eventually have a team of people working under you. The help you succeed, and their downlines (the people they bring into business) help them succeed. It all goes like a cycle.
The company offers a trial period for new joiners, so even if you join it and then decide that it doesn’t work for you, you can always have your money refunded.
Good luck!
